System Engineer

RMG is looking for a System Engineer Lead to join our team. The System Engineer Lead manages and drives projects, works with multi-disciplinary project teams, and is responsible for producing projects on time and on budget. The ideal candidate for this role will have a positive attitude, be deadline driven, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Overall accountability for the profitability and timeline of the project
Manages client communications and expectations to help ensure client satisfaction in partnership with internal teams
Identifies and scopes client requirements and deliverables along with senior technical and creative leads
Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and delivery of detailed project plans
Assigns project resources and ensures resources complete tasks in a timely manner according to project timelines
Properly notifies the internal team of any risks, weaknesses, or opportunities that could impact the success of the project, escalating issues to upper management when appropriate
Identifies, documents, and manages scope of deliverable change requests, whether initiated internally or by the client
Maintains an understanding of the client's operating environment and internal processes and procedures that may affect the project's success; serves as a point of contact for clients as needed
Ensures the use of best practices and applies lessons learned from previous projects

Requirements

3-5+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably within a consulting agency
Experience managing project budgets and timelines in excess of $300k and 3 months
Experience in a client-facing role as the main point of contact
Experience coordinating, encouraging, and rallying internal teams
Experience in, and a high comfort level with a fast-paced, deadline-driven culture
Maintains an understanding of industry trends and development principles
Excellent level of verbal and written English communication skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
